How to play Wrecklanders: Idle Island
Wrecklanders: Idle Island is a free idle game for your browser on phone and PC. Your plane went down over an island that is not on any map. You and a few survivors turn the crash site into a village – and your camp keeps working while you are away. No account, no ads, no purchases.

- Send Mara to the beach. Expeditions take seconds at first and return with a bag.
- Open the bag: every find has a rarity from Common to Legendary.
- Build the Driftwood Net and the Rain Catcher – they produce Materials and Supplies every second.
- Follow the hint bar at the top: it always names the next useful step.
Expeditions and bags
There are 8 expedition sites, from the beach to Station 4. Each costs some Supplies as provisions and brings resources, tools, survivors or mementos. Sometimes something happens on the way and you choose: safe or risky. Tools (fishing rod, machete, gas mask …) give extra finds or lower the risk at specific sites. From era 2 you can put people on Repeat: they keep going on their own, even offline.
Buildings and milestones
18 buildings: 8 producers (Rain Catcher, Driftwood Net, Kitchen, Sawmill, Radio Room, Garden, Forge, Solar Field) plus camp buildings like the Campfire (+10 % on everything), Huts (beds for survivors), Storehouse (longer offline time), Workbench (craft tools), Salvage Workshop (more resources from bags, costs Tech) and the Lighthouse. At levels 10, 25, 50, 100 … a producer doubles its output. Buy ×1, ×10 or Max.
Survivors
Expeditions sometimes find other survivors. Give them a job at a producer: every worker boosts that building. Rarer survivors help more.
Offline progress
Your camp keeps producing while the game is closed – up to 6 hours at the start and up to 12 hours with Storehouse upgrades. In the Android app, an optional video catches up up to 4 extra hours once a day (at most 16 hours in total). A postcard shows your haul when you return.
Rescue, islands and heirlooms (prestige)
In era 5 you build the Lighthouse and the Dock and the rescue ship arrives. You keep your people, tools and scrapbook, gain +50 % on everything, and choose the next island: Driftwood Isle (expedition finds +70 %), Rain Isle (Supplies +60 %) or Volcano Isle (Tech and Forge +40 %). You also take up to two heirlooms from your mementos along – each with its own effect. A casual player reaches the first rescue in about a week.
The mystery
Twelve mementos of the passengers tell the story of the crash. Collect five and Station 4 opens – the source of the green light in the mountain and of Project Beacon. After your first rescue, chapter 2 “The Voice on the Radio” begins.
Friends
Optional: friends who start through your link get a Golden Chest and become helpers on your island (+10 % production each, up to +30 %). A leaderboard compares your islands. The game is fully playable solo.
